New examination and treatment methods (NUB) – a good opportunity for subsequent acceptance into the DRG system.

Hospitals are given the option of negotiating fees or additional fees for new examination and treatment methods with the health insurance funds.

The NUB application is submitted to the InEK by hospitals selected by the manufacturer. An NUB application has to be completed for this. This is done by the hospitals. Imppuls assists you with both writing the application and coordinating with hospitals.

OPS code – to optimize the flat rate payment

Operation and procedures codes are the basis for the DRG system alongside indications (ICD codes). As new examination and treatment methods are not automatically shown in the DRG system it is necessary to amend the classifications every year. The OPS application is submitted to Dimdi by a cooperation partner.
